Mr. Isaac Arnice Bowman, age 84, of Ozark died early Sunday morning at his home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Isom Hill and Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Hopeful Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P. M. Tuesday until service time. Mr. Bowman was born September 18, 1924 in Ozark to the late Isaac Raymond Bowman and Nancy Lou Chapman Bowman. He was a life long resident of Ozark and Dale County, and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Irene Peace Bowman in 1994. Survivors include one brother, Albert C. Bowman of Opp, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Edith P. Self of Claxton, Georgia; two nephews, Barron Bowman of Birmingham and Raymond Bowman of Arkansas.
