Nicholas Johnson, age 12, of Ozark, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Childrens Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 28, 2009, from St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Egbe officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Tuesday evening. Survivors include his father, Brian Mark Johnson and his fiance, Amanda Hinson of Ozark; his mother and stepfather, Charie Worthington Koon and Kenny Koon; one sister, Shyann Armstrong; one brother, Patrick Armstrong all of West Point, Georgia; maternal grandmother, Lona Berko of Hawaii; paternal grandparents, David Johnson of Tallassee, Alabama and Rhonda Thompson of Webb, Alabama; paternal great grandparents, Adella Johnson and the late Travis Johnson, Sr. of Ozark. Several aunts and uncles also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nicholas Johnson Memorial Fund, C/O Community Bank and Trust, 510 Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
