Obituary of Edna Emily McCain

Mrs. Edna Emily Cobun McCain, age 83, of Ozark, Alabama, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, in Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dothan. Funeral services will be graveside at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Thomas Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. McCain was born April 17, 1927 in Jackson County, West Virginia to the late John and Stellar Burgess Cobun. She attended New Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Tumbleton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Oscar McKnight and Harry McCain. Survivors include her step-daughter, Betty Louise Gandee of Ozark; step-granddaughter, Donna Livingston and her husband, Doug of Ozark; step-great granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth and Scott Shelley and their family of Taylor, Janette Louise and Ed Parrish and their family of Ozark. The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Home in Ozark and Extendicare of Dothan for their care giving.
