Mrs. Mary Wallace Zornes, age 81, of Daleville, died early Monday morning, June 13, 2011, in Dale Medical Center.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Zornes was born September 13, 1929 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Charles Albert Wallace and Hazel Estep Wallace. She worked with Civil Service at Fort Rucker for 20 years until her retirement. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Alden Zornes, Sr.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jack A. Zornes, Jr. of Daleville, and Mark E. and Jennifer Zornes of Level Plains;
two grandchildren, Marie (Quinton) Rutherford and Levi Zornes;
two great grandchildren, Harley and Austin Westrick.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
