Mrs. Janie Frank Brown English, age 68, of Ariton, died Friday morning, November 7, 2008, in Flowers Hospital. Interment was in Center Ridge Baptist Church on Friday, November 7, 2008, with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. English was born September 1, 1940 in Ariton to the late Jessie and Ruby Senn Brown. She was a homemaker who loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lunnie English in 2007. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Coleson of Columbus, Georgia; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Lunnie Frank English, Jessie James and Karen English, Larry Lee and Tammy English, and John Gary English all of Ariton. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
