Mrs. Mary Jannette Barnes Stokes, 65, of Ozark, died Saturday morning, February 5, 2005, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, February 8, 2005, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Pastor Richard West officiating. Interment will be in Samson, Alabama, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Monday evening. Mrs. Stokes was born July 24, 1939, to the late Clistie Roberts Barnes and Thomas Clarence Barnes. She is survived by her husband, Travis Stokes, Ozark, one daughter, Clearece Roney and her husband, Scott, Opelika, one step-daughter, Daphne, one son, William Murphree, Ozark, one sister, Wynnette Nethery, Hamilton, Mississippi, one sister-in-law, Betty Barnes, Daleville, seven grandchildren, Selena Murphree, Christina Murphree, Skyler Palmer, Ruthie Roney, Joey Watson, Keith Watson, and Kevin Watson.
