Mr. Kenneth Melvin "Ken" DeJardin, age 63, of Skipperville, died Saturday June 18, 2011, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, June 23, 2011, from Skipperville United Methodist Church with Reverend Freddie McCain officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mr. DeJardin was born November 3, 1947 in Wisconsin to the late Joseph Peter DeJardin and Alice Berger DeJardin. He worked as a building contractor and was a member of Skipperville United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe DeJardin. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Mathison DeJardin of Skipperville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Jeannie DeJardin, Cory and Heidi DeJardin; one daughter, Patti Jo DeJardin, all of Green Bay, Wisconsin; four brothers, Melvin DeJardin, Larry DeJardin, Ronald DeJardin, and Donald DeJardin. Ten Grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Skipperville Rescue Squad, 6039 Hwy 105, Skipperville, Alabama 36374. Service Information
