Obituary of Teddy Donald Williams

Mr. Teddy Donald “Donnie” Williams, Jr., 55, of Ozark, died October 17, 2014, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Ralph Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mr. Williams was born July 11, 1959 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Ted Donald Williams, Sr. and Helen Thomaston Williams. He moved to Ozark in 1972 from Hinesville, Georgia and graduated from Carroll High School in 1978. Following graduation he moved to Savannah, Georgia to begin his career in the cable and telecommunications field. He moved back to Ozark and worked with Time Warner Cable in Dothan and later with Verizon and then CenturyLink for the past sixteen years. He was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being a grandfather. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Tiffany Renae Williams of Dothan; one grandson, Tate Patrick Williams of Dothan; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Debbie and Randy Patterson of Headland, Denise Bruner of Dothan; special friends, Shirley Clark Bass and Bobby Epling.
