Mrs. Mary Grimes Smith, age 60, of Ozark, died Saturday morning, March 12, 2011 in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Smith was born March 5, 1951 in Jack, Alabama to the late Harold and Maudie Boutwell Grimes. She graduated from Zion Chapel High School and moved to Ozark thirty-seven years ago. She worked with Dominos and Pizza Hut in Ozark for twenty-five years. Mrs. Smith enjoyed crossword puzzles and college football. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Gerald Smith in 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry M. Smith of Pensacola, Florida, and Gary Smith of Ozark;
one brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Marilyn Grimes of Wildwood, Florida.
