Obituary of Haywood Watson

Mr. Haywood Watson, age 80, of Ozark, died early Saturday morning, February 11, 2012, in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, February 13, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Tim Burgess officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 9:30 A. M. until service time.
Mr. Watson was born January 15, 1932 in Dale County to the late Ivey and Ollie V. Morris Watson. He had worked in the timber industry as a tree cutter. Mr. Watson loved to go fishing for catfish and enjoyed shooting pool and playing golf. He attended Ozark Praise and Worship Center. He loved and adored his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lyvone Barnes and Margaret Corbin.
Survivors include his niece, Tonya Ross and husband, John Ross III of Ozark;
three sisters and one brother-in-law, Ivey E. Hall of Abbeville, Dorothy Cook of Skipperville, and Jan and Sam Mansfield of Dothan;
one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Cathy Watson of Ozark.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
