Obituary of Lewe Frank Sessions

Mr. Lewe Frank "Bitsie" Sessions, Jr., of Ozark, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the age of 95. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, January 12, 2010, in the Westview Memorial Cemetery Chapel with Reverend James Green officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday in Westview Memorial Cemetery Chapel from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Mr. Sessions was the son of the late Judge Lewe Frank Sessions and Elizabeth Camilla Reynolds Sessions. He was a life long resident of Ozark, a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity at the University of Alabama, and a veteran of World War II. He owned and operated Sessions Building Supply until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don Sessions; and his sister, Frances Sessions Hicks. He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, Mildred Reynolds Sessions of Ozark; his sons, Lewe Frank Sessions, III (Becky) of Marietta, Georgia, James Thomas "Jim" Sessions (Robin) of Muscle Shoals; his daughters, Anne Sessions Smith (Terry) of Killen, Alabama, Camilla Sessions Wible (Bill) of Montgomery; a sister, Elizabeth Sessions Huey of Birmingham; sister-in-law, Hazel Sessions of Ozark; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
