Obituary of Miriam Roberson Bell

Mrs. Miriam Roberson Bell, age 85, of Echo, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, June 20, 2013, from Echo United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Skeen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Bell was born July 30, 1927 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Joseph Tullis Roberson and Ruby Cason Roberson. She was a member of Echo United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston Vay Bell; two brothers, Byron Roberson and Virgil Roberson; and one grandson, Allan Bell. Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law; Ted and Sue Bell of Semmes, Alabama, Ray Bell of Echo, Scott Bell of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Lee Anne Jones, Amanda Bell, and Robert Bell; two great grandchildren, Keegan Bell and Aubrey Jones; one brother, Harold Roberson of Pinehurst, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Echo United Methodist Church Building Fund, 8046 East County Road 36, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
