Mrs. Norma Rhea Plowman Purma, age 80, of Ozark, died Monday, February 27, 2012, in Flowers Hospital.
The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark Wednesday, February 29, 2012, from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Purma was born June 7, 1931 in Bethany, Missouri to the late Aubrey Aaron Plowman and Delores Cummings Plowman. She began her career as a nurse in Bethany and continued in St. Joseph, Missouri as an orthopedic nurse, where she worked until becoming disabled. Mrs. Purma moved to Ozark in 1985 and was a member of Glory to Him Fellowship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Purma; and one granddaughter, Michelle Simone Jones.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Katheryn Grigsby and Claude T. Chadwick of Ozark;
two grandchildren, Ronald Monroe Grigsby, Aaron Aubrey Grigsby;
four great grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Joshua Jones, Ashton Grigsby, and Rachael Kelley.
