Obituary of Heather Huey Crawford

Mrs. Heather Huey Crawford, age 27, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Fort Payne, Alabama. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Thursday, August 4, 2011, from Skipperville United Methodist Church with Reverend Freddie McCain officiating. Interment will follow in Skipperville Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Crawford's body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Heather was born November 18, 1983 in Knoxville, Tennessee, then moved to Cleveland, Tennessee where she attended junior and senior high school. She attended Wallace Community College receiving her degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked with Southeast Alabama Medical Center in the emergency room until joining the staff at DCI Dialysis Clinic. Heather was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints attending the Dothan Ward. She was an avid Alabama fan. Survivors include her husband, Warren Crawford of Ashford; her mother and father, Thomas J. III and Lyndell Huey of Tampa; her maternal grandfather, William E. Viehman, Jr. of Seabring, Florida; her paternal grandparents, Thomas Jr. and Mary Faye Huey of Skipperville; one sister, Rachel Huey of Tampa. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Skipperville Cemetery Fund, C/O Mrs. Faye Huey, 3489 County Road 50, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
