Mrs. Gloria Michiels Leavitt, age 79, of Ozark died Friday morning, January 22, 2010, in Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Holman Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Leavitt was born October 29, 1930 in Queens, New York to the late Pierre and Martha Speachart Michiels. She had lived in Ozark for the past three years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leavitt, II.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Larry Shelton of Ozark;
one son and daughter-in-law, William and Karen Leavitt, III of Stormville, New York;
three brothers, Peter Michiels, Dennis Michiels, and Robert Michiels all of New York;
three grandchildren, Eric Shelton, April Shelton, and Grant Leavitt;
three great grandchildren, Katelyn Shelton, Evan Shelton, and Kaylin Clark.
