Mr. A. B. Miller, age 66, of Ozark, died early Thursday morning, February 22, 2007, in Flowers Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, February 24, 2007 from Chalkhead Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy West officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Miller's body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Friday evening. Mr. Miller was born November 21, 1940 in Dale County to the late Edna Gavin Miller and Burl Miller. He worked with the United States Postal Service as a City Route Mail Carrier until his retirement. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his son, David Christopher Miller in 2001, and his brother, Robert "Mack" Miller. Survivors include one daughter, Angela Miller Johnston of Ozark, one son, Ashley Brian Miller of Ozark, his long time friend, Roslyn Mikoda of Ozark, one sister, Shirley Monday of Phenix City, and two grandchildren, Brandon Whitehead and Jody Johnston of Ozark.
