Obituary of Lewie Frank Snellgrove

Mr. Snellgrove was a native of Coffee County having grown up in the Longstreet community of Dale County. He worked with Civil Service at Camp Rucker until its closing, then 12 years with the Ozark Fire Department. He then worked with Hayes Aircraft at Napier Field until his retirement as a fireman in 1969. He was a charter member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Mr. Snellgrove received his 50-year membership pin from the Ozark Masonic Lodge #349 in 2000 and was a member of the Kolb Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. His son, Don Snellgrove, a brother Royce Snellgrove, of Enterprise, and a sister Sara Tillman, of Brundidge, and a granddaughter, Paige Byrd, of Ozark ,preceded him in death. Service Information
