Lynda, I was so sorry to hear about your Dad's death. He was a very nice man & I always enjoyed talking to him whenever I came back home & saw him. I enjoyed him as my principal at CHS. The one thing I remember most is when we had to make a meal in home ec & he was the guest at my table. He was so gracious for the meal we had prepared. He will be greatly missed. Again you have my heartfelt sympathy. Love, Tina

I am saddened to hear of Mr. Edgar's passing. I was at Carroll HS from 1971-1974 and also had him as my Sunday School teacher at Ozark Baptist my senior year 1973-74. He was always a pleasure to hear and loved to discuss issues with his "boys". I am honored to have had him as a teacher, friend and mentor. My prayers are with your entire family. Col Earle Thompson

Lynda, I was sorry to hear about your dad. I'm glad that he got to live a long, full life. He was loved by many & I will always remember him as my high school principal at Carroll High. I live in Bay Minette, Al.(near Mobile). My husband's name is Larry Brown. He graduated in 1970 and I graduated in 1972. You signed my yearbook, Lynda, which I still have. It's been a long time since we were in high school but I'm sure everyone remembers your dad. Our deepest sympathy is extended to you. My daddy died when I was in the 4th grade. I was nine years old. He was 52. You're blessed to have had your dad all these years. Hold tight to the many precious memories that you have of him. If you are ever in our area (Bay Minette, Al.), look us up. I manage the Christian bookstore here (Gospel Lighthouse). My husband (of 34 yrs.) Larry Brown, is a funeral director with Norris Funeral Home (34yrs.). Take care, Lynda. May your dad rest in peace. God bless you & keep you in his care. Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love. Jesus cares for you & what you're going through. Love, your classmate, Jackie (Ellis) Brown

I can't say enough good things about Mr. Edgar. He was my principal when I was a student at Carroll High and then my boss when I was a teacher there. As Lynda's Dad, I knew him as "Uncle Charlie". He was so kind and loving. I am thankful to him for helping me begin my career as a teacher. Love you , Lynda! Cathy Beasley
