Obituary of Jerry Mac Barr

Mr. Jerry M. Barr, 59, of Ozark, died Monday morning, March 29, 2004, at his home. Funeral services were held 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home, Ozark, with Mr. Don Seay officiating. Interment followed at 1:30 P. M. in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery near Geneva, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Barr was born March 23, 1945 in Geneva County, and had lived in Ozark for the past fifteen years. He had worked with the City of Ozark for nine years as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Barr, his parents, Frances Estelle Gunter Barr and Henry Lewis Barr, two brothers, Charles Wayne Barr and Robert Jerald Barr. Survivors include one daughter, Denise Tart and her husband, Jimmy, Enterprise, one step-daughter, Cindy Theakston, Fort Payne, one son, Gary Barr, Daleville, one step-son, Larry Barnes, Daleville, five sisters, Mary Hughes-Kimler, Midland City, Sandra Clemmons, Coffee Springs, Shirley Ballard, Bellwood, JoAnn Seay, Enterprise, and Judy Ballard, Bellwood, one brother, Henry Earl Barr, Enterprise, one grandson, D. J. Henderson, ten step grandchildren. Service Information
