Miss Mary Ethel Cotter, age 74, of Newton Avenue in Ozark, died Wednesday morning, March 23, 2005. Graveside services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Westview Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Joe Reams officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Miss Cotter was born in Ozark, Alabama on March 27, 1930, and was graduated from then Dale County High School in Ozark in 1948, and from Montevallo University in Montevallo, Alabama. She was employed with Civil Service at Fort Rucker for 33 years, and retired as Budget Officer in 1985 from USASSA Signal Bn, Fort Rucker. Miss Cotter was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. William A. Cotter, and three brothers, William R. Cotter, James E. Cotter, and Francis B. Cotter. Survivors include a niece, Carol Cotter Brian and husband, William H. Brian, Amarillo, Texas, and several cousins.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Westview Memorial Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 484, Ozark, Alabama 36361. Service Information
