Mr. Woodard was born and raised in Dale County and retired from Civil Service at Fort Rucker. He was an avid golfer, loving father, son, grandfather, and uncle. He was a Charter member of the Grace Baptist Church and was serving as Church Secretary-Treasurer and was a Trustee of the Church. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Oscar Woodard.
