Miss Tammy Nix, 42, of Ozark, died early Thursday morning, April 21, 2005, in Dale Medical Center following an extended illness. Funeral services will be graveside 2:00 P. M. Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. Friday with the family receiving friends from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Miss Nix was born February 15, 1963 in Stuttgart, Germany to Henry E."Hank" Nix and the late Mary Faye Brown Nix. She had lived in Ozark since childhood and graduated from Carroll High School in 1981. Miss Nix was retired from Dale Medical Center and was a member of Ozark Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her father, Hank Nix (wife, Ruby), Ozark, two sisters, Vicki Corbett (husband, Martin), Jacksonville, Florida, and Ginger Hardy (husband, Chuck), Huntsville, Alabama, two nieces, Carmen Hart and Heather Sommers, three nephews, Neal Hardy, Matthew Hardy, and Paden Hardy, two grand nieces, Lauren Valadez and Victoria Sommers, one grand nephew, Matthew Sommers. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation, P. O. Box 1011, Dothan, Alabama 36302.
