Mr. Johnson was a native and life-long resident of the Echo Community where he was engaged in farming and poultry production. He was a member of Echo United Methodist Church, was on the Church Administrative Board, and Church Music Director. Mr. Johnson was an avid deer and fox hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Hobson "Hob" Johnson and Mavis Cotton Johnson, two brothers, Dennis Johnson and Jerry Cotton "Jug" Johnson.
