Miss Thomas was a native of Dale County and a member of Union Presbyterian Church in the Arguta Community. She worked as a cashier for eleven years with the A & P Tea Company in Ozark and in Enterprise. She managed the Judy Bond Store in Ozark, served as sales clerk for Kirkland's Drug Store, Dowling's Department Store, The Beverly Shop, and Tarter's Drug Store before her retirement.
