Obituary of Kenneth Dale Lackey

Mr. Kenneth Dale Lackey, age 74, of Ozark, died Friday morning, December 21, 2007 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Lackey will be returning to his hometown, where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday, December 28, 2007, at Peguese Funeral Home in Tupelo, Mississippi. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shannon, Mississippi. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark will be in charge of local arrangements. Mr. Lackey was born March 23, 1933 in Luden, Oklahoma to the late Walter and Lois Kincannon Lackey. He served in the United States Army and was later self-employed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nell Lackey, and his daughter, Kathy Lackey. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Cindy Lackey of Ozark; two grandsons, Matt Templin of Ozark, and Thomas Templin of Dothan, four sisters, Marie Mask of Shannon, Mississippi, Judy Stanford of Fulton, Mississippi, Jane Sullivan of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Carolyn Hatcher of Dumas, Mississippi.
