. She graduated from Troy Normal School, now Troy State University, with a degree in Education. Retiring from General Telephone Company following 18 years of service, she has lived in Troy since 1995 with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lunnie Holman Clark in 1946, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Stokes, two sisters, Lillie Heath and Lois Flowers, and two brothers, Roy Stokes and Roscoe Stokes.
