Mrs. Godwin was a native of Barbour County having made her home in Ozark during her adult life. She was a member of the Ozark First Assembly of God Church and was active in the Ozark RSVP for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 1/2 years, Hays H. Godwin, and her son, Timothy J. Godwin.
