Mr. Lawson was a native of Brooks County, Georgia. He served 20 years in the United States Army, including two tours in Vietnam, retiring as a CW2 Aviator in 1974. He retired from Raytheon Aircraft Support Services at Fort Rucker following 20 years of service. Currently Mr. Lawson was working with Dyncorp LCCS C-12 Program at Fort Rucker.
