Obituary of James Robert Morehead

Mr. James Robert "Jim" Morehead, age 62, of Clio, formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida, died unexpectedly Monday evening, April 4, 2005 in Birmingham. Funeral services will be graveside at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, April 7, 2005, from Sykes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Clio with Military Honors, Reverend Don Phillips officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Morehead was born March 12, 1943 in Akron, Ohio and served in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Cartridge Care in Clio, having been in the cartridge business for a total of 18 years. Mr. Morehead was a member of Clio United Methodist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Jeannene Walker Morehead, Clio, three daughters, LeAnna Brennan and her husband, Kevin, Illinois, Ami Leemaster and her husband, Stuart, Akron, Ohio, and Jeanne' Gates and her husband, Randal, Dothan, two sons, Thomas Rosano, Jr., Macon, Georgia, and Scott Morehead and his wife, Dina, Gulf Breeze, Florida, eight grandsons and three granddaughters, two sisters, Marie Inch and her husband, George, Keystone Heights, Florida, and Lou Harbour, Akron, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Clio United Methodist Church.
