Mr. John Patrick Cly, age 82, of Ozark, died Friday morning, January 5, 2007, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, January 6, 2007, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 A. M. until service time. Mr. Cly was born March 4, 1924 in Wooster, Ohio. He served for two years in the United States Army during World War II, and retired from the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant following twenty years of service in 1965. He worked with Civil Service in California and then owned and operated Antique Stores in Texas and Fond Memories in Ozark until his health forced his retirement. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cly was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae June Cly, his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Billy Triplett, and his son, Tommy Cly. Survivors include two daughters, Loretta Hodnet and her husband, Terrell, and Rebecca Lints and her husband, Rob, all of Ozark, three sons, Carnott Cly of Freeport, Florida, John Cly and his wife, Roxie of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and Royce Cly of Freeport, Florida. Eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P. O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Alabama 36302. Service Information
