Obituary of Lester L. Perault

Mr. Lester Leon "Les" Perault, Jr., age 62, of Ozark, died Wednesday, January 4, 2006, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, January 9, 2006, from the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Reverend Joe Reams and Reverend Marty Hamilton officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 P. M. (C.S.T.) in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Perault's body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon. Mr. Perault was born February 11, 1943 in Potsdam, New York. He served in the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1966. He then worked with the I B M Corporation for 16 years in Miami, Montgomery, and in Ozark where he has made his home since 1968, and started Single Element Technology in January 1980. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, was a past member of Ozark Rotary Club, and Optimist Club. He was a Contributing Editor for "Recharger" Magazine. Mr. Perault graduated from Troy University with a B.S. Degree in 1974. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Leon Perault, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Cara Mullins Perault, Ozark, one daughter, Michelle and James Curvin, Albuquerque, New Mexico, one son, Les Perault, III and his wife, Melissa, Ozark, his Mother, Rosa Deno LaBuff, Lake Placid, New York, three sisters, Rosalie Tummons, Malone, New York, Linda Sweeney, Winthrop, New York, and Bernice White, Saranac Lake, New York, three brothers, Pat Perault, Ozark, David Perault, Omaha, Nebraska, and Larry Perault, Malone, New York. Six grandchildren also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, 167 East Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
