Lela Pauline Fischer Obituary
Mrs. Fischer's nurturing and caring nature was evident in her work as a nurse in Montgomery, Alabama. She was all that a grandmother should be. She loved to sew clothes for her four granddaughters and work with them in the vegetable garden. She taught them how to put up creamed corn, field peas, crabapple jelly, and scuppernong jelly. She will be remembered lovingly by her grandchildren for these gifts of her time and her love. Mrs. Fischer was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Fischer, Jr. and daughter Marilyn Thompson.
