Mrs. Beatrice Martin, age 96, of Ozark, formerly of Thomasville, Georgia, died late Sunday evening, May 29, 2005, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be graveside at 1:30 P. M. (E.S.T.) Friday, June 3, 2005, at Laurel Hills Cemetery in Thomasville, Georgia. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Mrs. Martin was born October 9, 1908 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Stella Zenobia Howell Belcher and Cephus C. Belcher. She lived in Thomasville, Georgia during her entire adult lifetime, where she retired from Flowers Baking Company following many years of service. Following her retirement she moved back to Ozark to live with her sister, Lucille. Mrs. Martin was a faithful and active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Conway Martin. Survivors include one sister, Lucille Martin, Ozark, several nieces and nephews.
