Mr. Edmund L. "Skip" Eveleth, 95, of Ozark, died Monday, November 8, 2004 at his home. Mr. Eveleth was born March 6, 1909 to the late Elizabeth Cushing Lincoln Eveleth and Charles Edmund Eveleth in Schenectady, New York. He spent over 60 years of his life in Aviation; most of this time with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and Sikorsky Aircraft as Project Engineer and Sales Manager. Mr. Eveleth lived in Connecticut and Florida prior to making his home in Ozark in 1979, where he was instrumental in founding the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker. He was also involved with alternative fuel studies at Alabama Aviation and Technical College in Ozark, and was the author of three books. He is survived by his two sons; Lincoln Swan Eveleth, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Peter Hooke Eveleth, Bushnell, Florida, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Memorials may be made in his memory to the U. S.
