Mrs. Peggy Richardson Hartzog, age 77, of Memphis, Tennessee, formerly of Ariton, died April 10, 2005 in Memphis. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, April 23, 2005 in Ariton Cemetery with Reverend Barnard Jones officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Hartzog was born June 25, 1927 in Ariton to the late Lucille McArthur Richardson and Dalton Richardson. She was a homemaker and a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her son, Wendell "Sonny" Hartzog, in 1993. Survivors include her husband, Lamar Hartzog, Memphis, one son, Randall Hartzog, Memphis, one sister, Patricia Beazley, Montgomery, one brother, Ben Richardson, Atlanta, Georgia, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
