Obituary of Pauline Baldwin Simmons

Celebrating the life of Pauline Baldwin Simmons. A resident of Ozark and lifelong resident of Dale County went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 16, 2007. She was born on August 18, 1912 to the late John and Maggie Baldwin. Services will be held at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend William Hart and Reverend Roger Stone officiating on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 2:30 P. M. preceded by visitation from 1:00 P. M. until 2:30 P. M. She was a wonderfully devoted Mother and Grandmother who will be greatly missed. She retired from Phillips Van Heusen after many years of service. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Ozark, Alabama and enjoyed her Sunday school class and working in Vacation Bible School. She went to Church to honor God until she was no longer able to attend. She loved spending time with her family. The family would like to thank Dr. Taylor Caffey and the staff at the Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center for all the care and concern they have shown. A special thank you to the nurses and caregivers on Birch Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Simmons, and one son, Dan Simmons. She leaves cherished and precious memories to one son, Paul (Jayne) Simmons of Ozark, two daughters, Christine (Chester) Walding of Pinckard, and Annette (Alan) Keller of Ozark. Nine grandchildren, Mikie Walding of Dothan, Jeff Walding of Pinckard, Danny Simmons of Pinckard, Darrin Simmons of Atlanta, GA., Paul Simmons, Jr. of Bertha, Ashley Simmons of Brundidge, Beverly Simmons Jackson of Dothan, Roger Keller of Indianapolis, IN, and Greg Keller of Birmingham. Many great grandchildren also survive; Seth, Ethan, and Robin Keller, Birmingham; Madison, Emily, and Laura Jackson, Dothan; Katie and Sam Keller, Indianapolis; Kyle and Miles Walding, Dothan; Jake Simmons and Jesse Lee, Bertha; Molly, Cade, and Makayla Simmons, Ozark; one special aunt, Eloise Johnston.
