Mr. Gerald Dean Peters, age 76, of the Mabson Community of Ozark, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, February 1, 2008, from Mabson United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Skeen officiating. Interment will follow in Mabson Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Thursday evening. Mr. Peters was born April 27, 1931 in Dale County to the late Mary Agnes Langford Peters and Egie Herbert Peters. He worked with the City of Ozark Street Department until becoming disabled. Survivors include his daughter, Dina Reynolds of Ozark; two sisters, Sue Watson of Enterprise and Lucille Hines of Montgomery; one brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Nancy Peters of Ozark; two granddaughters, Sarah and Cecily Strickland of Ozark.
