Dr. Robert A. Hutto, Ph.D., age 65, of San Antonio, Texas, died Sunday, June 11, 2006, in his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, June 19, 2006 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Reverend Greg Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Dr. Hutto was Born July 12, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri; the son of the late A. Herman Hutto, M.D. originally of Ariton, and Sara Elizabeth Conner Hutto R.N., of Malta Bend, Missouri. He was the brother of Janice Marie Hoyle of Surrey, England. Dr. Hutto was graduated from: The St. Louis Country Day School in 1959, B.A. McGill University, Montreal Canada in 1963, M.A. Oxford University, Oxford, England in 1968, Ph.D. Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri in 1973, Post-Doctoral The Rochester School of Music, New York in 1974. He taught German literature at Washington University in St. Louis and later at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. He had previously attended high schools in Braunschweig, Germany, and Oloron-Ste.-Marie, France, as well as the University of Hamburg in Germany. Service Information
