Mr. Spivey was a native of Geneva County moving to Dale County in 1965 where he owned and operated Spivey's Store and Spivey's Used Cars until his retirement. Mr. Spivey was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II.He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lee Simmons and Reverend Dawsey Miller Spivey, one grandchild, Rebecca Hope Spivey, one sister and one brother.
