Mrs. Mavis Sutton Paulk, 93, of Ariton, died Thursday morning, February 10, 2005, at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, February 11, 2005, at Bethel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Robert Hamilton and Pastor Jeff Downing officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Paulk was born April 18, 1911 in Dale County to the late Vantney Ollie Jones Sutton and Needham Bryant Sutton. She lived in Ariton where she was the last living Charter Member of Bethel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Paulk, and son and daughter-in-law, James and Jeanette Paulk. Survivors include her daughter, Geraldine Fralish, Ariton, sister, Matred Barefoot, Ariton, grandchildren, Debra Alums, Dothan, Philip Paulk, Birmingham, Vince Fralish, Ariton, Kevin Fralish, Panama City, Florida, great grandchildren, Vantney Alums, Ariton, Kade Fralish, Ariton, Candice Fralish, Troy, Hannah Fralish, Ariton, Zeke Fralish, Ariton, Barrett Paulk, Birmingham, one great-great granddaughter, Hatton Alums, Ariton. The family requests the omission of food and flowers. Memorials may be made in her memory to Ariton Cemetery Fund, C/O Earl Thompson, 7147 Hwy 51, Ariton, Alabama 36311, or to Bethel Assembly of God Church, Memorial Fund, P. O.
