I'm sorry I didnt know your mom persnally, I saw her notice and couldn't help to be moved but to send my condolences to you and your family. I haven't lost a mother but I have lost a brother and father(whom I loved dearly)This summer I lost two cousins, in seperate accidents, same town, 5 hour apart (brothers). It hit hard, I just wanted to help you as we were helped with support.I found much comfort in the scriptures especially Psalm 34:18. I hope you will find time to read it. Again, please accept our sympathy.

Cathy, The last time I talked with you on Thursday, you were happy that you were going to go shopping with your mother. I am so glad that you were able to spend that special time with her. Because I went through the same thing five years ago, I can truly understand. I know that your mother is walking around heaven all day pleased with no more aches or pains. Take care and God Bless you. Jackie

Dear Sweet Cathy, My heart is so heavy for you and your family. I certainly understand the grief that all of you feel. Losing someone as special as a Mother leaves a void that only God can help you through. I wish that time, job restraints and distance did not prevent me from being there to support you. Please know that I will be there in thought & prayer. I always find this quote to be comforting during times of bereavement."Those we love are with the Lord.If they are with Him and He is with us, they cannot be far away." For Christians, death is not goodbye. Its merely a see you later. Bless you sweet friend. Love, Tran

While we are all saddened by the news of your loss, we also have cause to celebrate your mother's life. Without her, there would have been no you. That would be equally sad. We miss you.

Cathy, As I am sure others have told you, God leads in mysterious ways. He knew that you needed to be with your mother and he led you to understand that. With your committment to teaching, it was very difficult to spend time with your mother. With Friday being a nonteaching day, you were given the gift of time, time to spend with your mother! I am sure that you will always treasure that time with your mother. We miss you and are here to help in anyway that you need. Judy

Cathy & Susie - I was so sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a sweet lady. It was always a treat to have her as our Misses Club chaperone. I can still see her standing there with that beautiful smile! I'm sorry I won't be able to come up, but please know that I'm thinking of you and that I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

In the sad times of life, it's part of God's plan for friends to help friends any way that they can. May you find strength in your faith, comfort in God's love, and peace in knowing your friends are praying for you.

Cathy, You have been in my thoughts and prayers since Sunday when I heard about your mother. I know there are no words to describe what you are feeling and certainly my words at this time will not comfort your sorrow but in reading the Words of our Lord I wanted to share some with you. Passages of Scripture from Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. In Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. When you need to talk to your mom and remember all that she is to you read God's words and be comforted. My love and prayers for you, Joyce (Holland)
