Obituary of Eula Ellen Mullins

Mrs. Eula Mullins, 69, of the Clopton Community died, April 22, 2006, in Dale Medical Center following a brief illness. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home parlors from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 26, 2006, in the chapel of Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia. Interment will follow in Hankins Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Mullins was born March 15, 1937 to the late Beatrice and Roy Hooker. She graduated from Bland High School in Bland, Virginia and took her nurse training in Richlands, Virginia. In 1959 she married Robert Mullins and was a nurse at Clinch Valley Hospital in Virginia and Dale Medical Center in Ozark until her retirement in 1996. Mrs. Mullins attended Clopton United Methodist Church, enjoyed gardening and was an avid antiquer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Glenna Cooper and brother, Ralph Hooker. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Robert Mullins, Clopton Two sons, Robert Mullins and his wife Betty, Harrison, AR; and Terry Mullins, Ozark Three sisters Pauline Vest and her husband Nelson, Whitegate, VA.; Juanita McGuire and her husband Keith, Whitegate, VA.; and Olena Cunningham and her husband Jack, Richlands, VA. Her brother Roy Hooker, Jr. and his wife Betty, Powhatan, VA Sister-in-law Faye Hooker, Richlands, VA. Three grandchildren April Smith, Matthew Mullins and Jonathan Mullins Also Survive.
