Mrs. Brown was a native of Coffee County, having made her home in Dale County most of her life. She was a member of El Bethel Assembly of God Church, a homemaker, a great vegetable and flower gardener, and loved sewing and designing clothes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell L. Brown, one daughter, Mary Mammoser, one sister, Ira Mae Stevens, and two brothers, Gaius Hornsby and Howard Hornsby.
