Obituary of Johnnie Ree Stewart

Mrs. Johnnie Stewart, age 73, of Ozark, died Thursday afternoon, May 25, 2006 in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, May 28, 2006 from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart and Reverend Isom Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Saturday evening. Mrs. Stewart was born February 11, 1933 in Treutlen County, Georgia to the late Grace Carter Price and Marvin James Foskey. She moved to Ozark in 1970 from Wrightville, Georgia, and was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She worked with Daniel Construction Company and retired from State of Alabama Home Health Care in 1995. Mrs. Stewart was a foster grandmother to children at Lisenby Elementary School.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Gill, and one son, Jeff Stewart. Survivors include her husband, W. Bruce Stewart of Ozark, two grandsons, Shawn Gill and Lance Gill of Ozark, one great grandson, Christopher Hunter Ray Gill of Ozark, her mother, Joyce Foskey of Rockledge, Georgia, three sisters, Annette Poston of Cookville, Tennessee, Frankie Stewart of Allgood, Tennessee, and Patricia Anderson of Rockledge, Georgia. three brothers, John Lewis Foskey, Rickey Foskey, and Wendall Foskey all of Dublin, Georgia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Service Information
