Mr. Rhodes was a native of Pike County and lived most of his life in the Arguta Community of Dale County. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He then worked with Civil Service at Fort Rucker as Traffic Manager in the Transportation Division, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and Ozark Rotary Club.
