Obituary of Imogene Deloney Harris

Mrs. Imogene Deloney Harris, age 94, of Ozark, died Friday evening, August 26, 2005, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 3:30 P. M. Sunday, August 28, 2005 from Ozark Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Clayton Nowell officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Ozark Primitive Baptist Church Sunday from 1:30 P. M. until service time at 3:30 P. M. Mrs. Harris was a native of Ozark where she was a member of Ozark Primitive Baptist Church. She graduated from Dale County High School in 1931 and married Henry Harris in 1933. They remained married for 56 years, until his death in 1987. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her son, Russell Harris, and her grandson, Timothy Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Elaine Potts and her husband, Harry, Ozark; Martha Smith and her husband, Billy, Ozark; and Mary Vaeth, Ozark, Alabama, two sons, Isaac Harris and his wife, Pat, Ozark; and Billy Harris, Ozark, daughter-in-law, Robbie Harris, Skipperville. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive. The family requests the omission of food.
