Mike, Mark, and Roy, I am deeply saddened by your fathers passing. He was always so good to me and treated me like family. When I told him that I was enlisting in the Coast Guard, he told me to work very hard and make everyone proud, and then he hugged me. Years later, I saw your parents in Panama City at their campsite and then again in Skipperville. They met my family and we had a very nice visit. During each visit, your father told me he was very proud of me. I want you to know, hearing him say that meant more to me than any medal the Coast Guard ever gave me. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful father. I always envied you. Love, John

Great neighbor and friend. We will miss seeing him in the yard and visiting with him, and even passing every morning as I go to work, and he was getting his paper. Just a wave, and knowing he was there was always a comfort & joy. Our prayers are for the family during this time.

Mike, Mark, Roy and families. We will certainly miss your Dad but we, like you are celebrating his going "Home". He was a man's man. A hard worker and family man doing things not only for his children but his children's friends as well. He was certainly a man that I admired and respected growing up as young boy in the neighborhood. I am glad that he was a part of my life and a longtime friend. I also appreciate him coming to the visitation when my Mother died in 2007. We will miss him and he will not be forgotten. Gary Storey and family
