Heartfelt sympathy to the family. Stanley made a very complicated house purchase proceed flawlessly for me. He was always present at church, a part of the firm foundation!

I met Mr. Garner when I was appointed executor of my mother’s estate in December 1990. I had no idea as to my responsibilities, by he sat me down and explained the entire legal process and possible contingencies. Then he proceeded to give me a lot of personal advice as to how to avoid problems he had seen in his years settling estates-which I gladly accepted and followed. Everything went very smoothly, which I attribute to his advice. Since then, I have seen other families that did not fair as well because they fell into some of the problems he taught me to avoid. He offered wise counsel.

Stan, I am so sorry about the loss of your father. Rarely does a day go by that I don’t think of my dad. Your dad sure did a lot in his 92 years. I never knew he was in the furniture and flooring business and I was surprised to learn that he went to law school at 47 years of age! Please know that you and your family are and will be in our thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of your dad. With deepest sympathy during this difficult time,
Sincerely yours,
Jim & Delores

I was sorry to read about Stanley’s death. Our friendship goes back to early childhood and he was always the “older brother” to my close ties to Gifford. In adult life we got on equal footing hanging out in the Edsel car dealership and the furniture store on North Union. I remember how proud I was of him when he got his law degree and hung out his shingle. Stanley was a good man and a pillar at First United Methodist in Ozark. The community was well served by him, my love to Stan, Libba NdGfD and family.

What great memories I have of Stanley and the Garner family. Stanley often entertained me with the history of Ozark and Dale County, what a wealth of knowledge he had. Stanley and his entire family were one of the driving forces of our First United Methodist Church in Ozark. What a Godly man he was, I always looked up to him. May his soul rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is reunited with his beloved Mary and family members that have preceded him into heaven.
