What can you say about a person as kind and nice as Myrlene. I first remember her when she worked with V. J. Elmore's 5 & 10 then when they closed at Saliba's. A nicer person you will never meet. She and Wayne were great together and always happy to see you and appreciative of any help you gave them. I really enjoyed her book of her "Memories growing up" as I could relate to most of her references. I know Merlene's soul is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with her loved ones that have preceded her in death. We thank God for the life of Myrlene Smith Thomas.
