Although we never met, it is not necessary to do so when one loves another. My feelings for Myra, and her darling Lex, have been ongoing for many years. Lex is at peace, and my love continues as does Myra's.

Lex was my good friend during our elementary and secondary school years in Walker during the 1950s and 1960s. There were many times when Lex and I played when I visited my aunt and uncle, Hazel and Dane Morrill. May my friend rest in peace!

Handsome man, that Lex. His grandparents[Morrill] were my aunt and uncle,--we shared cousins. My mother and father--Ruth and Stanley Meads-- cared for Lester and Pat years ago when they were needed. All the Meads family passes on sympathies at this time

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family in this difficult time. Lex and I go way back and although we have not been close since our retirements from the Army, he, Myra, and the family always remained in my thoughts.
